A space for kids and families to engage in holistic, creative, and child-led exploration in a natural setting.

Our Mission: A space where each child feels a sense of belonging and valued for who they are. A child-led, inquiry-based environment that uses the outdoors to ignite the child’s natural sense of wonder and excitement for learning. At Ignited Outdoor Learning Centre, the teachers act as facilitators as each child “draws out” what is already inside of them to discover.

Weekly Nature Programs

Inclusive programs for people of all ages that include Parent & Child Class, Pre-School, School Age, Family Drop Ins & more

Full-Time Nature Program

A full 4 day week outdoor day program for kids 3.8 to 7 years where they can explore freely, at their own pace, and in their own way through play.

Camps

March Break and Summer programming. Offering both parent and child play groups (1-4), and drop-off programming for older children (4-11).

Our Locations

Uxbridge

Located on a peaceful 12-acre homestead near Concession 6 & Davis Drive. Children explore forests, creeks, gardens, animals, and cozy indoor spaces. Field trips are part of the learning too.

Programs run at Sharon Hope United Church Community Garden and the Rogers Conservation Area. We also visit local farms and animal sanctuaries to deepen learning.
