We meet in community to celebrate and acknowledge the changing of seasons and what this means both internally for us and externally for the land. Working together as a community group we create a safe, welcoming and fun space for children to free play in nature as we engage in various seasonal activities. For example, we would gather around the fire and go on a lantern walk for the winter solstice, or decorate eggs and plant seeds for the spring equinox. Each season brings something new!

Drop In at the Forest Farm

All Ages with parent supervision!
When: Drop in Dates TBD for Summer 2024
Cost: $10 – $50 sliding scale donation

In this program we come together in community at the forest farm (a private forest and homestead property) to learn about living off of the land while nurturing our love for the land. We turn soil, plant seeds, water and weed, preserve food and tap maple trees…whatever the season brings! We build fires, cook food, chop wood, build with our hands, explore and learn about the native plants in the forest. We will be slowly adding new animals to the homestead so the children can have a part in this new adventure!

The program is run by trained forest and nature professionals, teachers and outdoor enthusiasts!

Forest Farm Mini Week Day Camp

When: August 6-8 ** 3 DAYS

9:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Cost: $160

An introduction to the world of day camp and outdoor school! A mini week program guided by an ECE and teacher. This is not just a camp, it is a home away from home. Our goal is for the children to feel a sense of place here, as they are guided to feel safe to explore their own interests, try new things and have fun!

In our private homestead/forest the children will be the first builders of this space that we are growing with love. This program takes place 100% outside, however we do use our indoor spaces for a break from the weather if needed.

We spend time in community reading books, creating art, singing, dancing, creating mindful little moments and exploring the outdoors with our friends!

Limited spaces available for this program. Please join the waitlist at the link below.
