Forest School Field Trips
Bring your students to Ignited Outdoor Learning Centre in Uxbridge or Newmarket for a fun, hands-on day of learning in nature! Our programs follow the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum and connect to Language, Math, Social Studies, and the Arts. See our program options below.
💰 Program Pricing
- Half-Day Visit: $250 (2 hours: 9:30–11:30 AM or 12:30–2:30 PM)
- Full-Day Visit: $550 (5 hours: 9:30 AM–2:30 PM)
Includes both guided activities and nature play.
✔ Price covers up to 30 students
✔ 1 adult for every 10 students is required
✔ Extra staff available for $50 if needed

Program Options
Learn about wild plants used for food and medicine. We make things like cedar tea, spruce gum or evergreen salves. This hands on workshop is bound to leave students seeing a forest through a different lens.

Children will be introduced to the 7 Grandfather teachings based on the Indigenous way of living a good life. Through hands on, developmentally appropriate activities and story telling children will learn about truth, love, wisdom, bravery, humility, wisdom and honesty).

Our Locations
Our Uxbridge location takes place on a beautiful 12-acre private homestead near Concession 6 & Davis Drive, surrounded by forests, fields, creeks, and gardens.
